Similar to raster calculator, mesh calculator works on mesh layers. In addition to the general functions, mesh calculator also provides time aggregate functions. Fore example, if you have a netcdf with daily temperature over a month, you can calculate the average temperature for the whole month for each cell. The output can be filtered by time span or spatial extent.
